The award ceremony was held in Geneva organized during Vitafoods Europe 2016, the main event for the nutraceutical and functional food market which hosts every year more than 13,000 visitors and more than 700 exhibitors from all over Europe.
The NutraIngredients Awards were created to recognize true innovation and cutting edge research in health foods, supplements and nutrition industries. Ingredients in the Healthy Ageing category were critiqued on scientific merit, efficacy, safety, innovation, market potential, product formulation, and ability to increase market credibility.
