Cetylation
It is the chemical process through which Cetylated Esters (CFAs) are formed. It derives from the chemical reaction of an acid with an alcohol. With this process, Alesco has developed CFAs – Cetylated Fatty Acids (or Cetylated Esters), a highly concentrated complex with high trans-cutaneous penetration power, obtained from the reaction of fatty acids of plant origin with cetyl alcohol.
