Last week saw the end of Vitafoods 2022, Europe’s most important nutraceutical trade fair. From 10 to 12 May in Geneva, the sector’s major players met at this appointment, from raw materials manufacturers to large distributors of finished products, with a total of 25,000 participants from over 120 countries.
And Alesco just had to be one of the exhibitors: the company was present at Vitafoods 2022 to illustrate the best of its patented raw materials and technologies. The number of visitors to the stand was very positive, and the increasing interest for Sucrosomial® Minerals and, generally, the new applications of Sucrosomial® Technology, the innovative delivery system patented by Alesco and used to increase the tolerability, absorption and bioavailability of nutritional elements. This efficacy has been proven by many scientific studies and research, allowing the company to develop a wide range of minerals intended for the production of supplements and functional foods and drinks, as well as cosmetic products.
What better occasion than Vitafoods 2022 to present a preview of the latest products made in Alesco: UltraD3, the first application of Sucrosomial® Technology to a vitamin.
“The bioavailability data for Sucrosomial® Vitamin D3 (UltraD3) are highly encouraging. Our R&D department is working to produce new scientific evidence of the advantages our technology can bring to the administration of essential elements such as vitamins and phytoextracts: greater absorption and high bioavailability are the trademarks of our raw materials, and this is where we will be concentrating our future investments, starting precisely from UltraD3”, stated Carlo Volpi, Chairman of Alesco.
An absolutely positive outcome for Vitafoods 2022, both in terms of participation and visitors, as well as the attention of new potential partners towards Alesco technologies.
“Many of the companies present are looking for new products, and especially new ingredients that allow them to stand out in the market. With the COVID pandemic, the sector focus shifted significantly towards prevention, particularly to support the immune system: today, minerals, vitamins and probiotics are even more the central focus of the nutraceutical industry than before. In this field, our raw materials can really make a difference, as they are unique, patented ingredients supported by solid scientific evidence”, comments Lorenzo Ligabue, Operations Officer at Alesco for over 20 years.
Alesco’s next international appointment is at SupplySide West in Las Vegas, from 31 October to 4 November 2022, where it will be exhibiting its products in a specific corner of the stand of its partner Maypro, official distributor of Alesco raw materials in the USA.
